    Hi guys,
So basically I want to go to university and study something science/healthcare related... But my circumstances are abit complicated. I passed all my GCSE's with A-C grades and I studied biology, sociology and textiles for AS. I came out with CDU for AS, the U which was in biology (that let me down soooo much), the C in sociology and the D in textiles. That meant that I only had two A levels under my belt and they weren't related to what I wanted to study at uni. I decided to pick up AS RS in year 13, however halfway through the year I dropped out because I literally felt like there was no point of me going as I wouldn't be able to study whatever I wanted to at uni (such a stupid reason I know) and I had already bunked so many days that I was too far behind on the work to catch up. Shortly after leaving school, I started working part time. About 2 months ago I started applying to colleges to study either BTECS or access courses starting this summer. I've decided to do an access course rather than the BTEC because it's only one year and it'll get me straight into the course I want to do at university. However, I was just wondering if there were any other options available for me as time is running out and I'm sort of having doubts about the access course?!!! Also, would I still be able to do a foundation course this year even though I have no A2?
I reallyneed help cos I'm so lost!!!

I m afraid foundation years normally require some A2 grades, the access course will give you a lot more options.

BTEC or Access course is your only option. You need a 'level 3' qual to get onto a Uni degree course, even a foundation course - there is no way around this.
