I applied to them for a grad scheme. Got through to assesment centre but had to cancel the application as i got an offer from another firm. The online application i found abit annoying and the HR rep for my telephone interview didnt really seem to have a clue.

As a firm to work for id imagine its fairly decent.

you talking about the one near Euston? i know someone who went to Grant Thornton after doing Econ at UCL ... what a waste. also i know someone who applied for a job, and HR sounded like they were regurgitating info from someone else who told them!

Grant Thornton gave me so much chat about how amazing they were, and to consider outside the top 4, an idea I was totally open to already... It took them over a month to process my original application before I was invited for tests. I sat the tests 10 days ago and haven't anything. My application with KPMG went in one day and I was sitting their tests the nexts.. bah useless.

My friend has gone to Grant Thornton post qualifying. It sounds like pretty hard work (a la the Big 4) but you do get credit for your overtime, unlike the Big 4! (pay or time off in lieu)
