Hi guys,
Just wondering if anybody is studying, or knows of somebody studying biochemistry at york? How does biochemistry at york differ from say Warwick or Nottingham. I want to go to a university with the best reputation.

I did biology, many friends did biochem (inc. house mate). great course, small classes (30-40 ish) really personal and most got good degrees. From the 10 or so I know who did biochem, 6 doing phds now, 1 teacher training, others usual crap.

try and PM rock_elevan he is doing biochem at York.

on another note I had a place at Warwick, notts and York chose York over the other 2 (but that was biology)
hey...am planning to do biochem at York...actually have accepted n all now just have to go...

Yea I am doing biochem. I did my first year at Imperial then transferred to York and much prefer it here. I also had offers from Nottingham, Warwick and Sheffield. Add me on msn if you want to talk, or ask things here if you prefer.

wanna generally know what it's like to be studying at York and what the course is like....are you working along with your degree? what to bring things to keep in mind about living and any thing else that you can think of about York or its biochem course...are you doing the sandwich year? also had offers from Imperial, Sheffield, Manchester, UCL and Bath but preferred the York course...
