Question in the title. I have 1A, 7Bs and 2Cs. Would you consider them to be alright? I'm slightly disappointed with them, but that's only because I thought I would do better. My parents have told me they are good grades but they're my parents and might be just saying that to stop me from being upset.

I feel the same with 1A, 6Bs and 2Cs, to add to that I'm told I have no luck on entering the top Universities I want to go to with a C in maths.

You passed, that's good. If you put a lot of work in, then they are good grades for you. For medical school, say, you may have to worl around them but if you looked around you'd still be able to do medicine, I'm sure this would apply to other fields as well. Don't let a bunch of letters define you.
