Hi was wondering if you could help me out.
I am in my 3rd year studying New Media and I am finding it hard to pick a dissertation topic that will be intresting to do. So could you help me?
My course uses Web, TV, Radio, Advertising, Computer and Video Games.
I was thinking along the lines of maybe gender representation but nothing too boring.
Or say media influences?
Or if anyone has got any other ideas that would be great

Lara Croft- Digital Pin-Up: A Gender Analysis
A study of Lara's multidisciplinary incarnations as female action hero, object of desire, and lucozade drinker.
Or something along those lines.

have a look at how deaf people use new media. Not as boring as it sounds.
things like should computer games have subtitles? Vidio phones, video phone interpreting.
why have advertisers suddenly started putting BSL in ads? and why on the McDonalds add with the deaf girl they left in the bit where she says "school" instead of "rabbit"?
