I'm thinking about postgrad study, and wanted some views on virtual open days and events. Has anyone experienced these, and how good do you think these are in comparison to actually attending onsite events?

I'm thinking about studying distance learning or a mixture of attendance, so not sure if online events will be enough to help with my decision.

Visiting is always best even if you will be studying by distance learning. Virtual open days have gotten better and better and some unis only do virtual ones for postgrad but I'd still visit if you can.
