If i were to go into consulting with Deloitte at 18, and then go onto qualify as a Chartered Accountant through the ICAEW exam, would a degree matter? I fi did this qualification, would i get the same, or even more, job opportunities at Investment Banks, law firms or industry than someone who came straight from a degree at uni? So they would have a bachelors in say economics at Cambridge, but i would be a chartered accountant a year younger, would i get the job over them (if we were same in everything else) or would i not be able to as i lack a degree? Also, can you go from ICAEW with no uni degree to a law firm??? Thanks
