    I gained 4 A*s and 7 As at GCSE level. Are these results good enough to consider applying to Oxford or Cambridge? If so, what chance of success do I have?

    That is a typical GCSE profile for an applicant. Your GCSEs are not the most important part of your application. Now focus on doing well in your A-levels.

    There is no set GCSE requirement but these are what the average applicant has. You're admissions tests, predicted grades and PS are just as important as you're GCSE- maybe even more so
