    Sixth form A:
    pros:
-very high rep (high up in league table)
    -grammar school
    Cons:
-An hour away from house (diff transport route 1 hr to get there and 1 hr back everyday)
-a lot of independent study (could also be considered pro)

    Sixth form B:
    Pros:
-good rep but lower than sixth form A on league table
    -Grammar school
    -easier transport route than A

    Cons:
-still far from home (but closer than A)

    which one?

I wouldn't just look at the league tables. Have you visited both and which one do you feel happier at? Can you do all the subjects at A or B? What other opportunities do each sixth offer?

Yes I have visited both schools and with all honesty I feel more comfortable in B because I feel as though more support is received whereas in A there is lots of independent learning. I am also able to study the subjects I want in both schools and both also have very good help and support in terms of UCAS applications. My only concern in attending school B is that I will be passing up a big opportunity because school A is very hard to get into and I don't want to regret the decision later.
