I have almost finished reading Andrew Robert's 'Napoleon The Great', which I will mention on my personal statement in relation to my interest in the Napoleonic era/wars. However, I feel that one book isn't enough if I'm trying to show I am really interested in this period and have thought about it critically.
Does anyone have any suggestions for wider reading that would demonstrate that I have thought critically about the Napoleonic era, maybe even that would offer a different line of argument to Andrew Roberts' favourable account?
Thank you for any replies, much appreciated.
But we haven't even met!
