I sat my T5 maths exam (CCEA) this summer and I got a D, for the next unit of maths I will be doing T2 and I want to do my T5 re-sit in January and my T2 like 2 days after the T5 exam in January.

The thing is T2 is a lot more difficult and complicated than T5 so that only gives me from September until January to revise so say coming up on the exam I don't feel ready to take it, can my teacher un-enter me from it or do I just not turn up? I don't want it to come up on my results sheet as a U either because I will get 0%. What way does it work?

hello. I'm with CCEA for all of my exams. I did my T3 at the end of last year (full marks) but I'm not sure if the T2 content is considerably harder. From September to January is plenty of time. Just go over the topics that you aren't sure off. I would recommend asking if you could resit the T5 in January and then do the T2 at the end of the year! It may help if you request the papers back to see what topics you need to work on. Your teacher could stop you from being entered for the exam however I think you could be asked for money if you do that. I'm sure you'll be fine though and good luck
