Hulme hall anybody?!

Hey, wondered if anyone had put this as their first choice?

I've been offered a bursary for here and have accepted (would be mad not to!) so wondered if anyone else will be going?

My original first choice was richmond park, but thinking about it, because I live in manchester I've already immersed myself in the whole fallowfield student scene anyway so will be nice for a change!

If anyone's going to hulme write what course etc you're doing on here!

Hey, how random that somebody else is up at this time!

I reckon you've got a good chance because I don't think it's high demand from what I can remember from the website!

I was a bit freaked out at first because someone said that it's a really formal hall with formal dinners wearing capes (:s-smilie:) etc every friday but they were probably just trying to freak me out..

It's got a bar on campus which is good, and it's close to uni..better for 9am lectures!

Yeah I was glad that they had a bar on campus too.....makes it kinda convenient. They do have there formalities in the sense that once in a blue moon :p: they will have formal dinners but a lot of the halls have that not just Hulme Hall. They organize it to better socialise people lacking such skill. Don't worry it wont be a 1800 type formal dinner :p: just a get together of the students .

It was from a widening participation programme I did snarf. Basically they sent letters out to everyone who did a widening participation course at the uni with an application form for the bursary and I randomly filled it out and got accepted!

I can't waiiiiiiiiiit till uni, I'm out twice a week with non uni friends so it'll be madness when I actually get to uni! I'm going to buy loads of alcohol and bring with me on the first day so you're all welcome to join my party

Burkhardt is one of my choices, but I've got sheavyn and richmond park before it, so you never know you could have the pleasure of my company at those dinners. :P
