How hard is further maths a level? I got 2 A*s in maths gcse with a moderate amount of revision and am uncertain as to whether the course would be too quick for me can someone who has finished their AS tell me how they found it?

I just did AS further maths this year (Edexcel), and I didn't find it that hard. Depending on what modules you choose FM can be easier than normal maths so the difficulty kind of depends. I did FP1, D1 and S2 so none of my modules were particularly hard.
-FP1 isnt that bad at all, probably similar in difficulty to c1/c2.
-D1 is really easy content-wise but is so so boring that it ends up being the hardest to revise for imo. Really easy to get a decent grade but hard to get full marks due to silly mistakes (or timing as it were this year)
-S2 I found a lot more interesting than S1 from normal Maths. Its much shorter than s1 and easier imo however the grade boundaries are usually pretty high so it can be hard to get the A*. (Note this is an A2 module so it counts to the A* in FM)

Overall i found FM not much harder than normal maths but I'd say that's because of the modules i did (If i couldve chosen myself i'd have done all the mechanics lol). If you enjoy maths and don't find it a chore then I'd defo recommend picking up FM
