    Hello.

I did my AS in June 2015, and A2 in June 2016. I'm planning to resit for my A2 only in October 2016. Can my AS marks be carried forward?
AS: AAAB, and A level(overall): AABB.

    I came by this article:
    https://ask.cie.org.uk/hc/en-gb/arti...-full-A-Level-

So does this mean if I do retake, I'll have to sit for both AS (again) and A2 in Oct 2016? [because my goal is to end up with an overall AAAB at least].

That's a peculiar rule i have not heard of before. However, what exam board are you on for your A levels? It's worth noting that this seems only to apply to Cambridge International Examinations (an exam board i have never heard of, to be honest). The familiar two are OCR and AQA, with Edexel and Salters also somewhat common for some subjects.

    Hi, thanks for the response.

I would advise asking your college or ringing up the support number of the Cambridge International Examinations which they provide in the website you linked. It does seem like you are in a bit of a pickle though, as your AS qualification was over 13 months ago. Sorry that you are on an exam board with these ridiculous rules! It's new to me.
