I got a conditional offer from Queen mary and i accepted it as my firm choice...now that my Ib results have been out...i sent my results to queen mary like 3 weeks ago n still havent got any reply.!! i sent bout 10 ***** emails to the office and i still dont get any reply...sometime is get this automated response...which is completely irrelevent...
i called up the uni also n they said that they'll get things in place...complained bout the emaling and they said they'll look it up....nothing happened...its as if i never called!
im so ***** pissed off wid queen mary that im wanna switch between my firm and insurance..i wanna make aston my firm choice now!...at least those people at aston reply way more quicker than queen mary...

can anyone gimme an email id of some head in the uni...admissions head...were i can send an email and get a bloody respsonse and not a ***** auto generated email as a reply!

Seriously...the service for international students is pathetic!!..absolutely lousy...its as if the uni officials arent bothered at all! damn ***** irritatin!

chill! first thing u should do is to e-mail the respective admissions officer of ur applied course. if dentistry then it's Natasha Chappell (as said by joy_88), u gotta look at the web. i dont think e-mailing the international student officer is a good idea.
my ucas has not changed to unconditional itself although they have informed me that they are prepared to accept me although i did not meet the subject requirement. i know it is painful to wait but sooner or later ur conditional will change to unconditional.

Frigging hell, you need to chill out! Your not the only international student applying to QMUL!

It's so abysmal these days the reasons students have not going to an academic institution.

I have to agree on some levels the staff at Queen Mary are bloody **** at answering their email in my experience.
However one should bear in mind they probably get thousands of emails and it is likely they are just not organised well enough to deal with this rather than the idea that they are ignorant of potential students.

Calling them on the phone works quite well so long as you call through the recommended lines, calling the department direct was useless as non-one ever seems to answer the phone.

Once you get through to people they are indeed quite helpful but they REALLY could do better to be more available.

It gives a dreadful impression otherwise, and impressions are at the end of the day the overriding factors that people use to make decisions about QM (or anything else for that matter), reasons and logic quite often feel insignificant if you have been given a piss poor impression.

when ib results were out i emailed the admissions woman and she took about 2 weeks to reply. they have a lot of things to do apart from replying emails and they may need to refer to certain people before replying your email. well, at least that's for my case.
can u drop ur firm btw?

so that qm admissions lady replied to you in two weeks saying what?...u got ur place confirmed...offer made unconditional..or wat?...well...qm would not answer my **** loads of emails...never responded properly to phonecalls...the only way i got in contact with qm is when one o their officials came to my country for their "promotion" bit...that time i told him my probs n he responded...now that hes gone back to england...even hes not responding...
but im being patient and still hoping for a response from them...atleast bfore 16 aug before A levels results come out

my status on ucas has not yet changed to unconditional as they have not received my CRB check and health questionnaire. i am also getting impatient but i choose to remaine patient :tongue:

well...haha...chosing to be patient is another thing...i jus want my whole admissions saga to be over bfore the A-level results are out...once they're out...it'll be hell for the qm ppl...then they definitely will take ages to reply...

btw...can anyone gimme a name or email id (telephone number also) to someone who is incharge of the finance and accounts course section...>?...mayb i can jus contact him/her directly n make things a lot more easier....

ps - someone who replies to emails and pick up their fone...unlike other qm ppl i talked to...

maybe....maybe not,...well.,.,over the period of my previously held grudge against qmul..i got to know that aston is way better for business than queen mary....onnly for the business courese in perticular..the placement rate after you get your degree is also quite good infact..
so...we'll im kinda debating at the moment....aston of qmul?

can u drop ur firm? hurm.. u shudve considered this before u made ur firm n insurance decisions. not blaming u tho, ive had this feeling as well when my qmary was still conditional. now that ive got my accomodation, no more this kind of feelings! :p:
