A few days ago my boyfriend and I had sex (not the first time) and ever since then I've had a bloody, stringy, sticky discharge. At first it wasn't as bad, but it's gotten worse and I've had to change from liners to pads.
I've not had this before and honestly just wanted to ask if it's normal, I guess?

You should not bleed after sex unless it just so happened that your period was supposed to start and did.

Either way, there might be something very wrong and I recommend going to a GP as no one here can tell you exactly what happened.

Read this for possible reasons of bleeding after sex. http://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/977.aspx?CategoryID=118
