Ask around for advice (this thread is useful for that very purpose...! sorry I cannot give insight into those subjects though) about how people found it, how to cope, how to get good marks etc and general advice.

The other thing I would say is that things may feel overwhelming at first but take some time at home, digest the information, make notes etc, keep on top of homework and coursework and hopefully you'll be okay.

I did economics AS this year and achieved a very solid A which should give me an A* prediction.

The best advice I can give is get the textbook early (now pretty much) and try self teaching. If you find this difficult then read ahead before every lesson and as soon as you come home from the lesson, write your own notes using the textbook and what you learnt in class. Do NOT rely on you class notes only - people that do this seldom get As.

Personally I had taught myself the course by December and so I had January to May to just consolidate and do papers. I don't know what board you're doing but you'll almost certainly have 15-25 markers. Do as many of these as you can and get your teachers to mark them throughout the year. BEG them to give to feedback if they initially refuse due to high workload 😂

Hope you found this useful, feel free to PM if you need any other advice. (I did AQA)
