So I'm considering applying for history courses at Queen Mary, LSE and Kings (my top 3) but am unsure if I should consider switching to joint honours (History and Politics). I'm not sure what I'd like to do in the future but would a joint honours of H&P widen my job opportunities (e.g. opening career paths in government), or could I achieve the same opportunities with a straight History degree?

I dont really mind just a straight History degree but I do have quite an interest in Politics. However I didn't take Politics for A Level or AS, would this hinder my personal statement if I were to apply for a H&P course?
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
