So I went out jogging alone for the first time in 5-6 months.

I live in a densely populated area, so I bumped into lots of other joggers.

Anyway, almost all of the ones I passed looked at me and gave me a nod... which I returned.

    Is this normal?

Also, there was a girl walking towards me on my way back. She was quite cute so I looked at her. As soon as we were close she looked down but had a really nice smile

Nope. Here in London you could be on fire and you'd be lucky if one person gives you a glance. If you're really lucky someone may use you to light their cigarette though.

Why didn't you go chat her up?

The last time I was out jogging a group of teenage boys decided to comment which helped confirm I need a better sports bra

Very true. Cycling along canals in Manchester, I'll often receive nods and smiles but people seemed to think I was from another planet when I tried the same in London.

That's surprising because I live in London, albeit in my parents' house till I head back to Uni :P

I've been laughing for like 5 minutes at this. Accurate tho.

I'm not sure where anyone else lives but yes this is perfectly normal. A nod, a wave, a hello, how do, y'alright, good weather. Any of the above. It only gets weird if they stop walking or jogging
