Fibonacci sequence in nature is probably one of the most fascinating thing about mathematics. But why do they appear so often? Can anyone explain/have ideas/ know good books or website to why Fibonacci sequences appears in every corner of nature? Thank you!

Was only a quick search, but looks in-depth enough to be of interest, though it's more mathematically aimed than biologically.

The Golden Ratio by Mario Livio is probably your best bet for a book.

Also, if you've got some time on your hands, this talk is pretty good at both explaining the cool things that Fibonacci appears in and debunking the various common myths about the Fibonacci sequence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oyyXC5IzEE
