So I got my AS results a few weeks ago and was extremely disapointed. I was expecting at least AABC but came out with BCCD.
My school said they would allow me to drop the D and carry on into A2 but I need the D (biology) for uni so I'm thinking about repeating lower sixth.
I'm in two minds about it because on one hand repeating seems such a good idea because I'll be ahead of everyone else but I don't want to have to leave my friends and all the rest of the good stuff.
Has anyone else repeated a year, what was it like? Are you glad you done it?

Only retake the year if you have to retake at least 50% of your AS exams to get the grades you want.

I don't think repeating the yr is needed. BCC is decent at AS, there have been numerous occasions whereby people retook some of their AS exams alongside A2 and came out with AAA or better.
