How hard is it to do Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at AS? Watch

    • Thread Starter

I've heard that doing double maths and triple sciences is a bit easier than doing five discreet subjects, especially since I've already done Additional Maths at GCSE.

I'd like to keep my options as open as possible, hence why I'm considering putting myself through this.

I was told that maths, further maths and chemistry are the hardest A-Levels out there so....yes it will be very hard. However, that shouldn't be the point. It will be difficult but if you have the drive and passion for it then you'll enjoy it If it was me, I would drop biology and just do the 4 other ones (unless you want to go into medicine).

I did five subjects at AS and I coped fine; however, it doesn't mean you should. Doing the fifth will only serve as intellectual enjoyment, it gives you no advantage whatsoever when it comes to applying for university.
