    Hi,
I will be going into year 11 next week and I will be choosing my A level options - hopefully Economics, Maths and Geography. I hope to study Economics or Economics with Geography at Uni. I know its going to be very difficult to get a place so I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of work experience I should get so I can boost my application from an early stage? I recently did 2 weeks at an accountancy firm and really enjoyed it but I can't think of many other places I could try. Thanks!

Work experience isn't really necessary for this sort of degree. What they want is extra reading and evidence of an interest in the subject outside of school work. Have a think about places you'd like to work in and go from there.
