I just received my GCSE results a few days ago & got an A in English lit & a C in language. Most of the universities I want to apply to in the future require at least a B in English language especially if I want to do law however would they consider looking at my literature grade? or would they focus just on the language? and should I retake? If so, what do unis think about retakes? such as KCL, LSE, Cambridge, Oxford etc.

Most unis tend to focus on Language, although will obviously take into account your other grades.

May be worth thinking about retaking, just to boost the language result as the majority of unis will be set on their English/Maths requirements.
