So I picked Biology, Chemistry and History for my A Levels but dropped psychology as my grades weren't as good as the others but I really like psychology and want the option of being able to take it at university is that possible as many courses say you don't need it but I took it as and AS and dropped it so does that not count for me?

It should be fine. But I would question your ability to succeed at undergrad psychology if you struggled with it at AS.
