I'm moving in to cambridge halls in a couple of weeks (weird question does anyone know how high up the desks are/if there are even desks) and since the pictures aren't that helpful anyone know anything about the layout of the rooms or how big they really are?

Yes, there are desks in the rooms and I would say they are about a meter in height. The rooms are about 2 and a half meters by 4 meters, I lived there quite a few years ago so my estimations could be quite generous because they are quite small, the smallest room I've had in my 4 years in university. Regarding the layout my room had a sink right next to the opening of the door and opposite was a wardrobe, the desk was at the end of the bed which is between the desk and wardrobe. There was also a shelf by the side of the sink. Hope this helps!

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
