Is anyone planning to not drink and not go to any Freshers party and festival events?

Probably me, tbh. I might go to ONE but I doubt it. But who knows? If I drink enough beforehand I might get dragged out... 😂

Why waste the one biggest opportunity to meet new people ?

Literally not one clue why you would do that. What a waste and a way to make a bad first impression.

Never enjoyed clubs, pubs and dancing, I'm also completely apathetic towards my fellow peers, moreover, I will get my student loan late, so I wish to conserve some money. I feel as though whilst everyone is out, I will be able to read a lot of material beforehand and get at least a working grasp of the subject material. I will have ample time to meet and greet at the other events happening during freshers week.
