This is one of the questions we were given as part of our pre A Level work. I don't understand what it means I was thinking about talking about how places are subjective and they have different meanings to different groups of people. Any other ideas? Thank you!!

Place is one of the five key themes of geography, and different places have different characteristics which distinguish them, including physical/natural characteristics (e.g. landforms, climate, temperature, soil type, plant and animal life etc), and human/cultural characteristics (e.g. buildings, methods of transportation, industries, religions, languages, levels of globalisation etc).

    I hope that helps
