Richard Feilden House??

I just got an offer for accomodation here. (woah..all these weeks of breaks made me struggle to spell accomodation, lol)

Was just wondering whether Richard Feilden House is any good? What facilities does it have? Also is it noisy there? Cos I seriously have an insomnia problem from the slightest bit of noise :s-smilie: ... thats why I didn't want pooley house. Flat Number 4, anyone else?! Any past Richard Feilden-ers or pictures?

Any other Richard Fielden-ers sign here with your room/flat and what course your doing!

Cheers

Hey!

Yea I just got my letter to, and looks like I'll be at Richard Fielden House, couldnt find any pictures or much info on it though...

Btw I'll be coming from Sweden, is there any other EU students that got this house?

Haven't heard from any yet! Although when I visited last year there was a wide variety of EU Students and US/Canada students! What room are you in? Room Number 4

Only info I found was that we're above the confectionary store, launderette and restaurant, and its newly built (we'll be the second living there?)

Oooh I didn't read it properly Room J, Flat 04!... hopefully its quiet up there, lol.

My anychance Vartan - are you Indian? My friend's dad is called Vartan and from Sweden or Poland (but Indian) lol.
Best looking halls imo out of all of them, though pooley house is the place to be for the best halls exp at QM.

Do you mean for facilities or by the 'student experience'? Don't really mind if it's mellow there

Hi!

I am in room H, flat 20.
The course is Physics and Finance.

Could any1 tell me, what do the room and flat stand for?
If I understand it correctly, there are 10 rooms in a flat ? which means that you have your own bedroom with a toilet and the kitchen is shared with 10 other? Is that right ?

Erm I read somewhere its between 9-11 people per "flat"... but I think that was written before the building was built, so not entirely sure. The flat is the shared area between 9-11 people where these are all basically your 'neighbours' - we'll share a kitchen. We have our own bedroom and bathroom though - so yeah, your correct. exciting stuff.
