Hi, I am going into my final year at secondary school and doing some product design work with the aim of designing a storage unit for uni students. In particular an entrance way product i.e. storage for keys, shoes, coats... I am currently looking for some customer feedback and was wondering what sort of issues people find with their storage. aesthetics, security, safety, size etc. As well as this it would be really helpful to get some thoughts and ideas on the project as a whole. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a really cool idea! and I think you're addressing some really important problems with storage. At uni my entranceway was fairly tight so you might want to consider designing something which could be placed anywhere and not making it too focused. For example I had a small chest of drawers just round the corner from my actual doorway. Floor space is a huge problem so focus on that as well. Best of luck!!
