Do nothing! I got an interview and offer with a spelling mistake on my form! I'd missed a word off the end of a sentence. It was a v. large regional firm.

Someone once told me they allow you three minor errors before automatically rejecting you - don't know how true this is though! I wouldn't draw their attention to it by emailing them - they read thoudsands so there's a chance they won't notice.

Good Luck

personally, i'd be tempted to go for option a - even if i ended up getting rejected, at least i wouldn't have that "if only i'd emailed them" feeling.

but then again it's only one application out of however many, so i'd probably leave it.

One spelling mistake is not going to make or break your application. Even top firms give you a small margin for error, for instance CC have a 'three strike' policy when it comes to grammar and spelling.

If you email HR then you're admitting that you submitted your application before you'd finished checking it properly. If you don't then you're illustrating that you're a poor proof-reader. If you have only made one error then I suggest you leave it.

No dont email them that would be stupid. i know loads of people who have mis spelt words and had interviews etc. Dont worry about it.

If ur form is strong they wont care about one mistake! x

There's always the possibility that they won't notice- so emailing them would just draw attention to it..

I e-mailed about a spelling error and ended up with a vac scheme at the firm - so it is not "stupid" to correct yourself
