I'm going to start in the next week or so, just brushing up on my science. I plan on using like bbc bitesize, past papers, and the official BMAT webiste prepeations... Don't really want to buy anything.

The sooner the better, trust me. You'll need time to brush up on section 2 and get used to solving problems quickly for section 1.
The preparation study guide on the BMAT website is all you need for section 2. Know it inside out. I used UniAdmission's BMAT book and the green 400 questions BMAT book for my preparation. Use the past papers as a mock.
