I went to the enrollment interview of hopefully my future college, however, they won't let me take both A level maths and physics together. Though I did not get the recommend grade to do a level maths which was an A (i got a b) but I passed the diagnostic test so they allowed me to enroll on the mechanics course, however, with physics I got the required grade but they won't let me take both these courses because the chances of me to fail both are 50% so even with the grades I have their not letting me take physics, and it's to late for me to change colleges now so I'm stuck with mechanics and engineering btec and I checked unis that to do mechanical engineering you need a level physics so i really need advice about this because I have no idea what to do now.

So you are signed up for maths because they wouldn't allow you to take both but you need physics for uni? Just talk to them and ask to switch the A levels. I don't see why that would be a problem. They didn't want you to do both but you can do one of them
