Hi guys, I was wondering what were your techniques to achieve an A* at A level. (What revision guides etc). Also did you write your own notes or just use the text book.

I write notes but I always feel I am leaving something out, so I just end up memorising the revision guide for the theory side then just practice papers for the calculations side.

Hi, I wrote notes from the textbook first at the beginning of the year and then went through the CGP guide (didn't take long) to make sure there was no missing information. Following that, I sat through class with my notes in front of me adding to them if any new information was taught in lessons. As it turned out the textbook had missed quite a lot of useful stuff out so I just added anything that was in the class-notes but not in the textbook. I was pretty confident with the notes by the end but you always pick things up when practicing using past papers etc.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
