Does ginger/red hair put boys off?

I've got ginger hair, its not dead bright though. I was wondering if it would put a guy off what do you think? I don't have lots of freckles but my skin is quite pale. I know that it shouldn't be a big issue if the guy is genuine and nice but just wondering :smile:

I always wondered that too to be honest, because I know people do seem to have a problem. They certainly have had with me anyway.

I'd like to think not. My boyfriend doesn't have a problem at all, in fact he said he loves it.

Wouldn't put me off. And during guy talk its not a problem. A few of my amtes even have a thing so it just boils down to personal preference.

In my case, not really, quite the opposite. As long as of course she has nice eyes and and a nice face (like in your case from what I can see in your picture) I don't mind the ginger hair and the freckless, in fact I like them as we don't have them (gingers) in Spain and it's something like different, and I think all my friends back in Spain think the same, however here the british don't seem to be very keen on them.

My girlfriend has ginger hair and I think it's fantastic. The only thing I don't like about it is the temper that comes along with it!

It depends in my opinion
If its bright ginger and freckles and the works then it would probs put me off
But if its like light/tinted red/ginger then sometimes it can actually look good, but i dont think hair colour is the most important thing anyways, most impoirtant in my opinion is like the face and the eyes.
Looking at your picture you dont have anything to worry about anyways.

My best friend has gingerish hair, it was brighter when I met her than it is now 'cos she has quite a bit of blonde in it, but woah it was so nice! I think red hair is actually quite special if I'm honest. I'm not a red head myself but two of my older cousin's have quite bright hair and even though I take the piss outta them it is nice!

Ginger hair in itself is not a turn off. It would only be one if the person was already unattractive. In fact, it can look quite good.

Well, I heard someone saying that the most fantastical and unrealistic element of the Harry Potter books was not the inclusion of dragons, nor flying broomsticks, nor even goblins. No, it was that a ginger had two mates. But I think that's harsh - the goblins were very weird.

True but for the most part of the 90's she was a readhead. Natural or not and thats when she was voted sexiest woman alive.

I spend loads every month dying my blonde hair ginger, and I can honestly say I've had much more male attention since. Keep the hair and be proud, I'd give anything to be a natural red-head.
