I Have  Best feeling ever!

Edit: Especially when you liked her for god knows how long

I'd rather the guy asked me out because i'm scared of rejection, i did hint to a guy a while ago i wanted to go out with him and then the confirmation of going out was kind of a mutual thing. how confusing.

Reply 6

Yep, I asked my current boyfriend out. He's so damn shy he would never have done it. So I did.

Reply 7

I've never asked a guy out, i do hint like crazy though, and am quite forward so there's not much room for confusion.

I did once say "well are you going to ask me out then:wink: ?" once, which might count i suppose.

I've been asked out by girls a few of times and I rejected them all. I never expected them to ask and I didn't really consider any of them to be my type of girl, even though they all had average-good looks.

... but yeah, for all you single, shy, guys out there, there is hope because there are girls out there that will ask you out, especially if they think you won't ask them out (like in my case).

Most of my lovelife (until recently) has been from being approached myself.

how do shy guys date ladies ................. luck

seriously though, you gotta get over the shyness and just ask em if you're interested. its not easy but it does get easier the more people you ask out

plus, if you like someone, you can't just wait for them to ask you out

If you say that we might begin to think you want us to ask you out. Anything less and we would be unsure. Seriously - we are that dumb.

happened to me last night. I'd been chatting to her for ages and after a while she said 'you look like a rabbit in the headlights' and I wasnt having that, so moved in. This thread is quite freaky actually coz im a pretty shy guy i just asked her to dinner over email (said yes, woho!) It doesnt happen that often though, i think it only did in this case coz shes older. Im clearly bad at taking hints, it took a near insult to get me on track.

I agree with always high, I was just lucky.

I've never asked a guy out, but I have seen someone I liked the look of in a coffee shop, and proceeded to track them down on myspace!! We're chatting online and txting each other and it's going really well!!
He was dead impressed that I'd managed to find him online, just by seeing him in a coffee shop lol. It's the most 'ballsy' thing I've ever done lol.

That’s a good effort. Are you Sherlock Holmes great granddaughter or something? That’s some serious detective work.

Hehe, nope, no relation!! I just saw him and thought to myself 'I've GOT to know who he is'. He's gorgeous :suith: I knew from the way he looked that he'd have a myspace and so I went there and typed 'starbucks' and the place it was and found someone who worked there - looked at their friend's list and voila... he was there!!! *Swooon* lol
