Long story short, I was studying Actuarial Science but dropped out during my second year. Instead, I went to a different uni to study Financial Economics, which I did complete.

So now I'm applying for banking and finance graduate roles and I need advice on my CV. Would it be recommended to put the two years I spent studying actuarial science or just leave it totally out.

If it was just a year I would've said to leave it out. But two years is looong and you can't really get away with that. Plus you've learnt a lot in that much time so it would be great if you could write that in, in your CV. So do mention it. When applying for a job in an interview if you get questioned on it just say what happened - changed your mind however learnt so and so.

    Hope this helps.

Put it in, it's relevant. It doesn't matter that you didn't complete, you completed the next degree.
