I went for an interview at a shop whom then told me to come in for a trial. After the trial I got offered the job and have been told to do a shift everyday until the end of next week. I asked today why I had been put down to work so many hours and I got told it's only because i'm training. In my interview I told them I only wanted to work 8 to 12 hours a week because i'm in college. However, I haven't signed any paper work. I'm fine with working so many hours for my training but i'm afraid they'll carry on putting me down for stupid hours. As it's my first job I have no clue as to what sort of paperwork I need off them and whether they are doing things right ... I haven't signed a contract and the manager usually finishes when i'm flat out serving customers... Can anyone explain to me what I should of signed etc?
