Anyone else going to this event on September 14th. Seems quite a good networking opportunity.

I went last year. its good in that it allows you facetime with the law firms and senior partners in relatively small groups, so its much better than beingat a law fair. you will hear from a previoous student, and when you begin the day you will be personally welcomed and will have to network and particiate n a icebreaking activity with other attendees. each firm gets a cv book to but I don't know if they use it after the event that much, although I guess it will look good if you apply to the first year schemes.

Some firms do use it. I have been to the event before and have used the CV book to contact people I was impressed with to encourage them to apply for future vacancies.

Hey! I know this was a year ago but congrats haha, I've been sent an email to apply for this year's and was wondering if you had any tips for applying/what it was like/what kinds of things you talked about with or asked the firms? Especially for the application, how did you go about the awards nominations part?

Sorry there's a lot of questions but any advice or whatever will help really, I'd really appreciate it! xx
