    For as I achieved AAAC in maths physics, chemistry, and further maths respectively. Im dropping AS chem and retaking AS FM with the A2 modules. My school has predicted me A* maths A physics B in further maths. Could I still apply to A*AA universities for physics, ie warwick, Birmingham etc

    I think you should be able to ask your school to change your predicted grades if you tell them you are applying to A*AA universities. You could also try to convey in your personal statement that you think you'll get higher than a B, in fact, I think you have to tell them if you plan to retake modules, so you could explain that in your PS and use it to demonstrate your commitment to the subject or something.

    If I were you I'd take the Chemistry to A2 instead. You are likely to get a higher grade in it from what it seems, and many Universities, if your not doing maths, see further math as a fourth subject overall for most degrees.

    should I do all 4 because my overall predicted grades are ok.
    Predicted A2:
    maths - A*
    chemistry A*
    physics - A
    Further maths - B
    atleast that way it can paper over the cracks a little bit
