# Maximum football match score possible is 125-0 Watch

1. Assuming the minimum time possible between goals is 45 seconds, and there are 5 minutes of added time each half, you get the maximum number of goals it is possible to score in a single match: 125.

I made it up. It is definitely possible to score a goal in 2 seconds, but it is not likely that the average seconds per goal ratio is going to be '2'.
