Help with BSMS GIS (Guaranteed Interview Scheme)-transferring to medicine from biomed watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm going into my first year of biomed at Brighton uni, and have been told that my A-level grades (A*AAAbb) mean that I'm guaranteed for an interview to transfer to medicine next year- i've phoned up inquiring about whether i'd need a new personal statement, and one person said that it was up to UCAS (who said that they were fine with me using the same one), and another person said that I'd need a new one because it wouldn't look good if i had the same one (I applied to BSMS this year, and was rejected), but they 'didn't expect me to go crazy'. Does anyone have any idea what they mean, and if possible, i'd like to get into touch with someone who got into medicine from biomed, or someone who is currently at BSMS for help with my personal statement. Thanks, and sorry for the long post
