Basically i have been given a job at sainsburys for 19 hours a week however some of these hours are on a week day. The problem is i don't have my college timetable yet so i don't know when my classes will be and they will most likely be in the times that i have work so do you think sainsburys will be lenient about this, i said on my application that i don't have my college hours yet but i failed to mention it in my interview. However i did say i could do the date that my induction was on originally as it is my first day of college and the man who was interviewing me who is also my future boss said college was more important and takes priority.

Just say this to your boss/manager:

    Hey *Insert Name Here*,

I'm sorry to bring this up right now but I may not be able to work at the shifts that you've given because I haven't received my timetable yet. Is it okay if I can have the *Insert Day you start School* off so I can have my timetable and I can send you a copy so you'll know what days I can work? I'm so sorry that I didn't mention this before. I hope this helps.

After that, they should change your shifts so it can fit into your timetable.

    Good luck.
