In 2005 i went to Sheffield University.
Unfortunately due to quite severe personal problems i was forced to drop out after only 6 months. I paid back my maitenance loan and believe ive around £3000 to pay back to student loans once I earn enough to do so. Recently i have harboured a desire to return to education. I am a lot more stable and have a great life but am always sad that i wasted such an opportunity to further myself all those years ago. Would i be able to get another student loan if i applied to uni again?!

    Thanks

Is that the only time you were at uni for? If so, the answer is yes.
