What does it mean?

Okay me and my gf broke up like 3 weeks ago-ish. Anyway i'm a bit confused about some of the things she said a few days after we broke up:

1.She think's we'll get back together.

2.She still likes me in that way.

3.She just wants to try dating some other people first.

4.Still wants to see me every few weeks.

I just feel a bit confused what all this means and if anyone could give me their take on what this means it would be much appreciated It just confuses me a little why she would break up if in the long run she wants to be with me.

p.s. It was a long distance relationship.

What?! She wants to experiment yet she still wants to be with you? That's not fair on you, why should you hang around while she sees other people? You don't need her :smile:

Yeah i wasnt going to hang around for her anyway even though i still really like her. May as well look for some one closer, kinda sucked only seeing her every 2-3 weeks.

p.s. When i said she still wants to see me, i just mean she wants to see me as a friend.

I don't see why you should stop being friends with her, but make it clear that you aren't going to hang around and wait for her to finish dating other guys.
