I'm due to transfer to the second year of a new course at a new university this month. I've had my student finance application approved but then I read on this website (http://www.universitytransferguide.c...t-finance.html) that I should also contact my LEA. The site seems a little out of date and I can't find any other info about it. Do I need to do this still?

LEAs (at least in England) are no longer involved with higher education funding, so you're right, the advice in that link is out of date.

It's critical that you inform Student Finance of the change, but that's all.
