Have just returned to college to find my previous history tutor failed to submit my proposed coursework topic for approval to the exam board - deadline was 31st July I believe. The new tutor has sent it in now but does anyone know what is likely to happen? Has anyone experienced this? I have spent a lot of time working on my coursework and would be gutted if it was excluded because the tutor screwed up.

I'm guessing you're in your second year of A-levels? You should be fine. It must have been submitted as a late entry coursework. If you are still worried then contact the exam board about this and find out what happens if you submit it late.

Hope it all goes too well. Don't stress too much about it. If possible you should complain about your teacher to someone above, I would. :ninja:

Thanks for that - I thought there must be contingencies. Will let the school sort it. It would be pointless complaining because the teacher left at the end of term - he submitted everyone else's topic but not mine! Have also just found out that he hasn't covered all the work for the first year (we didn't sit AS - thank goodness!) so we are going to have to cram it in this year! As if I wasn't stressed enough ....
