How does film studies have anything to do with sports??
Some American universities offer sports scholarships - it gets you in and you play for their team while you do the course of your choice

what im trying to say in a nice way is, unless youre rich or get a scholarship, in sports, which are more common than academic scholarships in america. yourew very unlikely to go to a US UNI. they also like to save scholarships for people in the country or state the uni is in.

In other word, starting thinking of other choices, since a US uni isnt a very likely option, and honestly not a smart one really.

the cost is the main worry, like i keep saying if you don't have $250k your better off staying in india, im unsure what your unis are like, but im sure youll get more support for funding in india, and from what i hear the funding and cost to go to uni in india isnt too bad. Hell even the UK wouldn't be too bad, since we charge £15k to study here, but that is still a lot of money for you to fund yourself, much less than £250k, you can also come to the UK and do a year in america. either way unless your rich your better of staying in india, you want to go into a field which doesnt have great job or income opportunities and want to be stuck with $250k-$1M worth of debt ... for what ? to see the US.

But i dont know much about your situation and indian UNIs, like i said, you're from india, want to go to a US uni and are asking on a UK student forum, on the A-level section, which is the section full of 16-18 year old who have no idea how to help you. you really need to ask someone in your school or country, not to be rude ... but most of us have no idea how we can help you with this. Also the US isnt an option really .. as youll find out anyways, im just telling you now. start looking imto indian unis .
