So I've been looking for jobs since June and I've had around 3/4 interviews. Two of which I screwed up and I know why I did, if I hadn't I would have got the job. Anyway, I've had no luck in anything and applied to 50+ jobs. I've heard of temp agencies but I'm not100% sure what they do and how I apply to it and what happens in the process. Can someone explain to me please? Thanks!

If you've had some interviews then you clearly know how to put together a good application, so make sure you look at your more successful applications when writing new ones.

On the agency front, they are staffed by recruitment consultants whose job it is to fill vacancies they are given. This is an example of one http://www.tiger-recruitment.co.uk/temporary-jobs
The best way to work with them is phone them up, explain what skills and experience you have and what sort of role you are looking for. Then they will ask you send over your CV and in theory they should put you forward for suitable roles. Beware that some agencies will be more helpful than others, as a relatively new graduate without significant experience you won't be the easiest to place in a role so some agencies will decide you aren't worth their time and ignore you or say they don't have any suitable roles. Some do the opposite and pretend they have a great role to get you on the books, then once you've signed up they aren't helpful. Hopefully you should find a helpful or one or two though.
