If the modules I want to do outside my course department in year 1 (Scottish bachelors) are in "high demand" (from the module details page on the uni website) and I am one grade below the entry requirements for the course to which the module belongs, am I likely to not get it?
The typical entry requirements for the course to which the module belongs are AAA, I got AAB.
Will they look at my A level subjects/my reasons for wanting to do the modules (which are valid), or are your grades given much more weight in this scenario?

Shouldn't you call and ask them?

I might also drop them an email.
